DESCRIPTION:Shania Taint will be hosting an event for the Silver Dollar Court at 5 Star Saloon on Saturday\, November 20. This will be slightly different from the usual drag shows seen in town.\n\n\nQueens will be given three look categories related to the overall rainbow theme. Rather than doing a lip sync for this segment\, the queens will simply do a runway walk to showcase their look. Whoever gets the most tips (all will be donated to the SDC) for each category will be the “winner” of that category. The last segment will be a drag performance by each queen. Whoever has the most tips donated for the entire Rainbow Ball will “win” the ball and get an automatic invite to the next one.\n\n\nShow will begin promptly at 10 and last approximately 2 hours with various breaks. The door will be donated for the court from 8pm-10pm and all performer tips will also be donated to the court.

DESCRIPTION:The office of monarch is taken very seriously within the court system and requires a large commitment of the holder’s time and money. \nIn the most frequent case\, several weeks after coronation the new monarch or monarchs present their court titles at a fundraiser called investitures. The titles given to members vary from one chapter to another and are primarily left to the discretion of the reigning monarch or monarchs\, the fons honorum (fountain of honor) of their chapter. \nTypical titles awarded are Imperial Crown Prince\, Grand Duchess\, Marquess\, Viscount\, etc. Other appellations bestowed resemble offices or professions within a medieval or modern noble court rather than titles of nobility\, such as “Court Jester” or “Chancellor of the Realm” and so forth. These titles may be as serious-sounding or as humorously campy as the monarchs wish.[13]
